UV Disinfectant System

UV Disinfectant System

A non-chemical system that uses ultraviolet light to eliminate microorganisms in water.

The UV Disinfectant System is a chemical-free water treatment method that uses ultraviolet (UV-C) light to inactivate bacteria, viruses, and protozoa by disrupting their DNA. The system consists of a UV lamp housed in a stainless-steel chamber through which water flows, ensuring it is exposed to germicidal wavelengths. This process provides effective microbial disinfection without altering the water’s taste, odor, or chemical composition. UV systems are widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications as a final disinfection stage, especially after filtration and RO, to guarantee microbiological safety of potable water.
