Ultrafiltration Membrane

Ultrafiltration Membrane

A filtration system that removes suspended solids, bacteria, and viruses using a semi-permeable membrane.

The Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane is a highly efficient physical filtration process that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove particles, colloids, bacteria, and most viruses from water. Operating under low pressure, UF membranes act as a barrier to contaminants larger than their pore size (typically 0.01 micron), ensuring high-quality water output. They are widely used as a pre-treatment step before reverse osmosis (RO) systems or for standalone purification in municipal, industrial, and domestic applications. UF systems offer long membrane life, low chemical usage, and reliable operation, making them a key component in modern water treatment solutions.
